Heather Brown
DVM
Dr. Heather Brown joined Bethany Animal Hospital in June 2010 after graduating from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.
Having grown up in Buffalo, New York, and northern New Jersey, Dr. Brown moved to Illinois with her family in 2004.
She graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences in 2006 and continued onto the University of Illinois, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.
Dr. Brown’s areas of interest include dermatology, preventative medicine, ultrasonography, and exotic mammal medicine. She is a member of the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. She enjoys attending continuing education conferences to discover new and exciting developments in veterinary medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Brown loves to spend time with her two children, Cheyenne and Jack, her husband Dan, and their lab mix, Swinney. She also enjoys baking and cake decorating, watching Clemson football, participating in book clubs, and is an active member of her church.
