Bethany Animal Hospital provides excellent and safe grooming and boarding services for your pets. We offer a clean, safe, and loving environment for your dogs, cats, and exotics to stay in while you are away.

Pricing

Canine Boarding: $20.00
Feline Boarding: $15.00
Exotic Pet Boarding: $13.00

Charges are determined per day. If medication needs to be administered, there is a $2.00 increase per day. Our climate-controlled boarding facility is bright and friendly with plenty of natural lighting, on-site medical staff, specially designed ventilation system, and lots of love and attention from our pet care specialists.

Our Boarding Policies

To ensure a positive boarding experience for every pet, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with our boarding policies prior to your pet's stay with us. If you have any additional questions on our policies, please contact us to discuss them.

Reservations

Reservations are required if you want to board your pet. Our space can fill up quickly, especially on holiday weekends. If you know you will be going out of town, we encourage you to call and make a reservation right away. If you need to cancel a reservation, please notify us 3 days prior to your check-in date. A timely cancellation will help us accommodate another client who may be waiting for a boarding space.

Vaccinations and Health Requirements

For the safety of all pets, we require that vaccinations and fecal tests be brought up-to-date 5 days prior to check-in. Your pet will be checked for fleas at no cost to you. If there is evidence of fleas, we will treat accordingly with a topical prevention method. The cost of the medication will be charged to your account.

Required vaccinations for boarding are DHLPP (distemper) and Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough). We must also have a record of a negative fecal exam. If you need to update your pet on any of these requirements, please schedule an appointment.

Admission and Go-Home Times

Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Diet

We provide Science Diet Sensitive Stomach for cats and dogs during their boarding stay. However, please feel free to bring your pet's own food and feeding instructions and we will happily adhere to that.

Medications

Our staff is trained to administer oral medications as well as injections. We ask that you bring the medications in the original package and complete the "Medication" section on the boarding intake forms.

Belongings

Although we do provide comfortable bedding for your pets, we welcome you to bring any personal items that you think would bring your pet extra comfort and happiness while you are away. We just ask that you label all items clearly with the first and last name of your pet.

Safety

We understand that when pets leave the comfort of their homes, they can become nervous. We make every effort to make their experience as fear free as possible. However, we reserve the right to refuse services or ask you to pick your pet up if it shows aggression to the point where we believe it could harm our staff.
