BETHANY ANIMAL HOSPITAL PHILOSOPHY
From the beginning, Schelkopf Veterinary Clinic - and now Bethany Animal Hospital - have been committed to the livestock industry. It has been their primary focus to provide their clients with the highest health each farm could achieve. As the industry has changed over the years, the role of the veterinarian has changed. Bethany Animal Hospital has incorporated farm management into its practice and has made it a key service for clients. Bethany Swine Management Services has focused its efforts to work with each client to provide the highest herd health, cutting edge information and management guidelines to allow each client to be as successful in their agribusiness as possible. Farm veterinarians can only survive when they have clients. The survival of the livestock industry in our area is a vital concern, and with the ever-increasing costs facing livestock producers, our veterinarians take their role as mentor to their clients very seriously. We are continually challenging clients to higher and higher efficiencies, to share data and to network, for these are the tools the agriculture industry needs for its survival. Today's production must be done under an ever-increasing understanding of regulations, research and experiences with the environment, animal welfare, food safety and neighborhood relations. A good relationship with clients and open communication can only be achieved with an honest, unbiased, trustworthy exchange of information.
